On 2020 Sept 27, the Azerbaijani Republic, in an act of absolute aggression, began a war against the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabagh). Bombardments of civilians and civic infrastructure continue daily.

We are a group of concerned Canadians that see through the propaganda of the dictatorial regime in Azerbaijan. We understand that the aggressor in this war is only able to act because no one speaks against them. Their dirty money buys favours throughout the democratic world. They abuse our naivete and need to hear “both sides of an issue” by littering our media and our civic spaces with false equivalences that draw attention from their aggression and abuses of decency.

Dismayed at the tacit acceptance of whatever is delivered by the propaganda machine, we’ve decided to write about true facts.
